Flanders Investment & Trade stores, processes, and uses your personal data within the framework of the Flanders International Business Awards 2023 for communication and promotion. By participating in the contest of by registering for the ceremony, you give permission to share contact data with Flanders Investment & Trade and third parties.
Flanders Investment & Trade values your privacy. Therefore, you can always request access to your personal data, modify the data and/or limit or stop their transferability via privacy@fitagency.be.
Which personal data?
If you participate in the Flanders International Business Awards, Flanders Investment & Trade stores, processes and uses your personal data. This is limited to mere identification and contact data. FIT also provides the contact data to third parties (sponsors).
During the presentation of the Flanders International Business Awards, photographs and video images are also made. Flanders Investment & Trade saves and uses these images for general communication and promotional purposes.
How long do we store your personal data and images?
Flanders Investment & Trade undertakes not to keep your personal data longer than necessary. Your identification and contact data will be deleted within 12 months after the presentation of the Flanders International Business Awards 2023. If this is deviated from, Flanders Investment & Trade will ask for your explicit permission.
Photo and video images will be kept for 10 years at the longest. Later use will only be justifiable as part of archiving in the public interest.
How do we secure your personal data?
Flanders Investment & Trade makes every effort to (continue to) guarantee the accessibility, confidentiality, and integrity of your personal data continuously. Flanders Investment & Trade implements a variety of security technologies and measures to protect your personal data as much as possible. Should an unforeseen incident occur in which your personal data are involved, Flanders Investment & Trade will inform you according to the legally foreseen conditions.

By participating in the Flanders International Business Awards, candidates give their permission to share their contact data with Flanders Investment & Trade as well as with the sponsors of the contest.
In case of complaints about the processing of your personal data or the compliance of Flanders Investment & Trade with this privacy statement, we kindly ask you to first contact us via privacy@fitagency.be. To avoid mistaken identity, please identify yourself with a copy of the front of your identity card. The statutory response period of 30 calendar days will be upheld.
